Kimberly Sue Owens, 47, of Haskell, OK, departed this life on Thursday, December 25, 2008 in Muskogee, Ok. She was born August 13, 1961 in Muskogee, OK to Freddy and Patsy Joe (Yochum) Owens. After high school Kimberly attained a Bachelor's degree in computer sciences. Kim was a tough, considerate, very strong woman with a very kind heart. No matter how bad of a day she or anyone else was having, Kim would find some way to bring joy to it. She loved her friends and family dearly. Most would say she brightened their days with her astonishing personality and beautiful smile that would light up the entire room. Kim was also reliable and funny, could make you laugh on any day, good or bad. She was also there when you needed her most. Kim put others' needs before her own. She was a wonderful friend, a good mother, and an amazing grandmother, as well as a significant part of our family. "You always made us laugh by acting crazy and being goofy, we loved every minute of it!" Kim leaves behind her husband, Delbert, son Hank, two daughters, Mika and Mariah, two grandchildren, Haley and Trevor; four sisters, Tammy, Rhonda, Kandee and Trisha; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; other relatives; and friends. "She is loved and missed by them all. A memorial services was held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the Ezra House in Haskell.
