Obituary

Koy Ray Woodward age 38, of Wagoner, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 19, 2024. Koy was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on July 17, 1985 to Clarence Ray Woodward and Bertha Grace "Glacken" Woodward. Koy was the youngest of seven shared children.

During his high school years Koy found his passion for welding and concurrently attended ICTC. He graduated in 2004 and worked as a welder for the past 20 years. A few short years later after graduating high school, Koy married his high school sweetheart Amanda Segler in 2008. They shared two beautiful children, Jaymi Rai and Avery Koy Woodward.

On February 11, 2014 he married Alisha Ortega in Wagoner, Oklahoma where the two made their home; although both had children from previous marriages they blended their family beautifully and the two raised their children together for the past 13 years. Koy always considered himself the father of six children.

Everyone who met Koy and Alisha knew how passionate they felt about each other. Their love was unconditional and they made each other better people. They fulfilled his life-long dream of owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle last year, and he and Alisha enjoyed riding the bike and traveling. The two of them enjoyed camping and floating the river with their children and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Ray, his brother Michael Woodward and his Aunt Diane Ells. He is survived by his mother Bertha, his wife Alisha, and their six children: Jaymi, Avery, David, Isaiah, Ilena, and Albert "AJ", his sister Tina O'leary and husband Brent, his brother John Pickering and wife Jacquie, his brother Cody Pickering and wife Tracy, and numerous friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14
