Kristie Deann Richmond-Hutchens was born October 1, 1969 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Leon and Dee (Whiteley) Richmond. She grew up in Wagoner and graduated from Wagoner High School. She attended Northeastern State University and Bacone College to complete her preparation to become a registered nurse. She was employed at Saint Francis Hospital, but primarily worked as the school nurse for Wagoner Public Schools

Kristie's sweet nature and warm smile will always be remembered by her friends and family alike. She and her husband, Billy, enjoyed boating and the lake. Her family was the most important aspect of Krisite's life.

She departed this life on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Preceding her in death were her mother, Dee Richmond, grandparents, Frank and Juanita Whiteley; an uncle, William Keith Whiteley, and an aunt, Cindy Milam.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Hutchens of Wagoner, a son, Franklin Todd Richmond of Wagoner; daughter, Shelby Dee Hutchens of Wagoner; two stepsons, Bill Hutchens and Brennen Hutchens; her father, Leon Richmond of Wagoner; two brothers and their spouses, Kevin Leon Richmond and Allyson Blair of Wagoner and Brian Keith Richmond and Patti Richmond of Hulbert, other relatives and good friends.

The viewing is set for 1:00 PM -7:00 PM Sunday at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.

The funeral service in celebration of Kristie's life will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Mallett Chapel. The Reverend Glen Rowan will officiate.

Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Greg Blaylock, Bart Bogle, Roger Drake, Brad Hall, Aye Jay Jones and Johnny Jones.
