Lacey Renee' Durrett was born June 7, 1978 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She grew up in Porter, Oklahoma and graduated from Wagoner High School in 1996. She later attended Conners State College and earned her Associates Degree. Lacey later graduated from beauty school and began her career as a self-employed hairdresser. Lacey also was previously employed at Charlie's Chicken West in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Lacey departed this life Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years, 3 months and 24 days. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Fred F. George Sr., paternal grandmother, Phyllis Faye (Lacey) Durrett; great-grandmother, Virlen "Dude" Durrett and aunt Sharon (Durrett) Good.

She is survived by her mother, Kathryn S. Durrett of Porter, Oklahoma; father, Slayton Ray Durrett of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sister, Rachel (Durrett) Kaiser and husband, Bill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother Gary Ray Durrett of Muskogee, Oklahoma; beloved nephew, Tatum Paul Kaiser of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; extended family, including aunts, uncle and cousins; and friends.

The family will be holding a private memorial service.
