"As We Reflect " On September 18th, 1953, God parted the heavens and sent an Angel to walk earth for a short time. Lendia (Linda) Carol Roberson was born to Sam Miles and Anna Roberson, to the reunion she was the oldest of five. Lendia (Linda) accepted Christ as her savior, and as she grew older her relationship with God grew tronger each day until the Lord called her home. Linda always loved her family, she loved to cook and spend her time with the family. Lendia (Linda) graduated from Wagoner High School with the class of 1972. She moved to Tulsa, OK and worked for St. John's Hospital. Our beautiful Lendia (Linda) departed the world as we know it and entered the doors of eternity on June 1, 2012. She was preceded in death by her son, both parents, and two sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughter, Yolanda (Jeremy) Thomas, Cherrie Lane of Wagoner, Ok; four brothers, Larry Miles, Michael (Bonnie) Miles, Sammie Miles, Dwight (Ashawna) Miles, all of Wagoner, OK; two sisters, Mamie Thomas, Elaine McDondle of Tulsa, OK, one uncle, John Roberson of Inola, Ok and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. The Pastor Roger Stephenson and the Reverend Jamie Powell will officiate. Friends may call to sign the register beginning Monday.
