IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Susan
Bonham
February 2, 1959 – May 7, 2019
Like an unexpected ray of sunshine, Linda Susan Hogan came into this world on February 2, 1959. She was born in Kern County California, a late in life gift to her parents William Virgil and Ruby Pauline Hogan.
Linda brought sunshine wherever she went with her quick smile and crazy antics. She had a beautiful soul. She was kind and compassionate to all she encountered and could always be counted on for a kind word and a listening ear.
Linda worked as a program manager for the Bakersfield California Housing Authority before retiring due to health reasons.
She returned to Oklahoma in 2016 and made her home in the Toppers area of Wagoner. There she was the glue that bound her neighborhood together. The planner of celebrations and honorary Grandma and Great Grandma to her neighbors kids, their kids and their friends.
Words cannot begin to describe how the loss of Miss Linda will affect those she left behind but we are comforted in the knowledge that she is at peace and no longer in pain.
Linda leaves to forever cherish her memory her best friend of 42 years, Gladys Wood; her caretaker turned friend, Melanie Kamil; neighbor and friend Teri Adams and her children Jaelynn Adams and Jordan Adams, as well as the newest bundle of joy born to Jordan, Dynari Dudley; and neighbors and friends, Ray and Annie Whitfield. Ray was always an uplifting friend for Linda, but he unfortunately proceeded her in death.
Linda is survived by her husband Jack Bonham, daughter Erin (Cliff) Trout and their children Taylor and Cole, daughter Brittany (Anthony) Brown and their child Blake, son Wade and his children Lilly and Allie and Linda's niece and nephews.
Linda's spirit departed this earth on May 7, 2019. Viewing will be May 13 th at Mallett Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest Tuesday, May 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma. In keeping with Linda's spirit any and all who wish to pay their final respects are welcome to come.
Anyone wishing to express their sympathies through cards or flowers may send them to Mallett Funeral Home care of Gladys Wood.
And the Lord said, "Well done my good and faithful servant"
