The funeral service for Linda Michelle (Trueblood) Pilkerton will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK. Officiating will be the Reverend Bruce VonWald.

Family and friends will gather for a Visitation Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm.

Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner with Josh Trueblood, Gavin Trueblood, Austin Horn, Trevor Horn, Jim Cobb and Ronnie Cagle serving as pallbearers.

Linda was born June 4, 1967 in Okmulgee, OK to Bobby Gene and Mary Louise (Cobb) Trueblood. After receiving her bachelor's degree in psychology Linda began a career in child counseling. She was previously employed at the children's home in Tahlequah, OK and at Green Country Mental Health in Muskogee, OK.

Linda's family fondly remember her as the tomboy of the family. Her nickname was "Do", because she would do anything. She loved sports of all kinds, but her favorite team to follow and support were the New England Patriots.

Linda loved her pets deeply and always shared her life with them.

She died on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at her home in Wagoner, OK at the age of 51 years. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents. Bobby and Mary Trueblood; her husband, Larry Pilkerton; boyfriend, Kenny Jones; and a best friend, Mollie Roberts.

Survivors include her daughter, Lindsay Pilkerton of Wagoner; three siblings, Stephen and Ronni Trueblood of Washington, Marsha Horn of Wagoner and Mary Ellen and David Noel of Catoosa, OK.; her extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and her friends.
