Linda Ruth Scroggins

Linda Ruth (Vondren) Scroggins, 80, departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Coweta Manor in Coweta, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born on February 16, 1946, to James Otis Vondren and Hettie (Tackett) Vondren in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 9 am - 5 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

Family will greet friends at a Visitation on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory. 

A Funeral Service will be held to celebrate the life of Linda Scroggins on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Pioneer Cemetery, where Linda will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Ruben Scroggins.  Those serving as casket bearers included Micheal Helmer, Kasey Hicks, Kayden Hicks, Kenneth Hicks, Little Marc Scroggins, Matt Scroggins, Andrew Scroggins, Nickolas Scroggins, and Skylare Scroggins. Honorary casket bearer will be Ronnie Laird.
