The funeral service to celebrate the life of Linda Jean Smith will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church, 504 South State Street, Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Lisa Sowers will officiate.

Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Donald Price, Steve Baker, Greg Hammons, Jamie Huggins, Tyler Rice and Dustin Rice. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Collins and Robbie Roberson.

A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Viewing hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.

Linda Jean Smith was born August 30, 1981 in Wagoner, OK to James Elvin and Phyllis (Myers) Smith. Following graduation from Wagoner High School Linda was employed as a cook at Wagoner Community Hospital and Casey's General Store.

Linda loved life. She lifted everyone's spirits with a smile so bright it made others smile. Her favorite television show was The Golden Girls.

Linda passed this life early Friday morning, May 24, 2019, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK at the age of 37 years. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lois Jean Myers; paternal grandparents, Billy Oden Smith and Florence Lela Smith; a maternal great-grandmother, Margie Myers; her uncle, Johnny Myers and an aunt, Cathy Kvittum.

Survivors who will always cherish her memory include two sons, Matthew Nowles and Brysten Nowles; her parents, James and Phyllis Smith; grandfather, Devone Myers; brother Devone Smith and wife, Brenda; sister, Margie Smith; three nephews, James Michael Smith and Jacob and Joshua Hammons; one niece, Myah Jean Smith; one uncle, Mike Rice and wife, Sherry; four aunts, Shirley Kendall, Pat Garner and husband Gary, Mary Lee Stevens and husband Rick and Dorothy Vanhorn and husband Daniel; her ex-husband Dustin Nowles; friend Cheryl Scroggins; extended family and friends.
