Lloyd F. Jones was born January 18, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Mildred (Miller) and James Francis Jones. Early on his family nicknamed him Jake. Lloyd graduated from Rogers High School in Tulsa and then served in the United States Army.

Lloyd made his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years before moving to Claremore, Oklahoma. Before retirement he was employed as a warehouse manager for various home improvement retailers, including Lowes and Builders Square.

Lloyd enjoyed life and loved to joke around with his family and friends. They will miss his sense of humor. Lloyd had a lot of fun playing Yahtzee, Skip Bo and other card games, and he did not like to lose! Outdoors he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Lloyd departed this life Monday, September 12, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mildred Jones; his twin, Peanut; sister, Mary; brother Dinky and an infant brother.

Survivors include his son, Tommy Jones and Laura Wheatcraft; daughter, Tammy Jones Sloan; grandchildren, Lauren Osterhout and Kayla Sullivan; four great-grandchildren, Brantley, Laynee, Conner and Rylee; three sisters, Jeanette, Brenda and Patty; brother, Robert; other extended family and friends.

Lloyd's life will be celebrated at his funeral service at 1 pm Thursday in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner with the Reverend Michael Cobb officiating.

He will be laid to rest in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Dakota Henderson, Kelly Scott, Ronnie Cagle and Jim Cobb.
