Lorene "Cookie" Mae Moore

Lorene Mae (Hartman) Moore, affectionately known as "Cookie" to her family and friends, departed this life on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Wagoner Care & Rehab Nursing Facility in Wagoner, OK, at the age of 82 years.  She was born on December 17, 1943, in Fresno, CA, to Lester Hartman and Dorothy (Talbot) Stevenson.  

Cookie was a familiar face to many throughout the Wagoner community, having been a dedicated employee of Wagoner Walmart for many years until her retirement.  Through her years of service, she became acquainted with countless individuals and will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.

The family will greet friends at a visitation, which will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5- 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held to honor the life of Lorene Moore on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Church of God, Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Reverend Bruce VonWald will officiate.  

Interment will follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Wagoner, Oklahoma.
