Lorene (Wynn) Thomas was born October 2, 1941 in Hulbert, OK to her parents, Ted and Elenora (Davis) Wynn. She passed away at her temporary home Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends. Lorene married Allen David Pokey' Thomas on April 15, 1965 and they made their home in Wagoner. She was a homemaker and housewife and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also had a love for her Saturday afternoon bingo and her bingo friends. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen David 'Pokey' Thomas; two sisters, Dorothy Short and Bonnie Whitekiller and one niece Tammy Ford. She is survived by one son, Greg Thomas; a dear friend who she loved as a son, Mikey Davis; four grand children, Shelby Thomas, Megan Thomas, Garrett Thomas and Brock Holden; three great-grandchildren, Rae Gynn, Kae Keigh and My Kale; one brother Joe Wynn and his wife, Barbara; a brother-in-law, Buffalo Whitekiller; other brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Lorene will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Wagoner with the Reverend Carl Murphy officiating. Pallbearers will be Rusty Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Jamie Smith, Jimmie Smith, Dale Morris Jr. and Dusty Neugin. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Thomas, Chuckee Thomas, Odie Thomas Chris Thomas, Buffalo Whitekiller, Mark Whitekiller, Mickey Wynn, Marty Wynn, Rocky Neugin, Billy Ray Ford and Allen Lee Cook. Funeral arrangements and interment in the Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery will be directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
