Loretta Daphane (Mayfield) McLemore was born February 6, 1936 in Hulbert, OK to Everett and Hazel (Crowe) Mayfield. Mrs. McLemore's two favorite interests were flower gardening and cats. She enjoyed people and liked to play bingo after entering the nursing home. Whatever life brought her, Mrs. McLemore liked to be dressed to meet the world, especially making sure she had her "makeup" on every day.

Mrs. McLemore departed this life Monday, November 14, 2016 in Muskogee, OK. She was preceded in death by her first husband Calvin White, and later by husband Wallace McLemore; by her parents, Everett and Hazel Mayfield; two brothers, Ronnie Mayfield and Sonny Mayfield; and a great-grandson, David Elliott.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Gail and Frank Rhodes of Catoosa, OK, Dean and Kathy White of Lost City, OK, Kathy White and Terry of Vian, OK, and Parma and Claude Dell Teague of Hulbert, OK; two sisters, Jean Richmond and Barbara Winn; a brother, Joe Mayfield; nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. Officiating will be the Reverend Bobby Botts. Private interment will be in Hulbert Community Cemetery.
