Obituary

Lucille Merrell was born March 7, 1930 in Lost City, Oklahoma to Ruby Beatrice (Collins) and Bidie Joe Johnson. After attending Wagoner Public Schools, Lucille married Floyd Felix Merrell on May 8, 1948. They enjoyed a full life together until his passing in 1988.

Lucille was employed in several different positions before retirement, including at the Wagoner County Sheriff's office. Many people fondly recall her welcoming smile when she was a Walmart greeter.

Lucille enjoyed reading and sewing and was an avid macramé artist. She always grew a big vegetable garden. Her family all deem her to be the best cook ever. Each had their favorites, including her homemade fudge, peanut brittle (Mike's pick) and no bake cookies (Randy's pick). In her later years Lucille loved reminiscing about the good memories she shared with family.
