Obituary

Lucinda Marie (Tadpole) Gaither was born March 14, 1919 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Cullis Elmer and Ollie Carrier (Tucker) Tadpole. She and her husband, Harold Thomas Gaither, made their home in Porter, OK for many years. She was a member of the Holiness Church. Mrs. Gaither loved to go somewhere every day when her health allowed, especially to go to antique stores and to eat out, (as long as she was home by 2 p.m.) Mrs. Gaither departed this life on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at her home in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 95 years, 9 months and 25 days. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Gaither; one daughter, Vickie (Gaither) Hilger; one sister, Claudia Tibbs; and her parents. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Daniels, of the home in Tahlequah; several grandchildren, including Kevin Daniels and his wife, Rita, of Peggs, OK, Carla Jumper of Tahlequah, OK, Dustin Daniels of Tahlequah and B.W. (Bud) Conley II and his wife, Emily, of Mulberry, AR; many great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Tadpole of Claremore, OK; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. The Reverend Lisa Sowers will officiate. Interment will be in Agnew Cemetery in Muskogee County, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Kevin Daniels, Dustin Daniels, Bud Conley, Ryan Jumper, Josh Jumper and Dylan Daniels. Visitation will be Sunday 1-5 p.m., Monday 9 a.m -7 p.m., and Tuesday 9 a.m -noon.
