Funeral services for Lynnetta Gail Lamon, 53, of Wagoner will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with Chaplin Wendell Cox officiating. Lynnetta Gail Lamon was born July 16, 1957 in Stillwell, Oklahoma to her parents, Bill and Callie (Adkinsson) Daugherty. She grew up in Tahlequah and graduated from Tahlequah High School. After college Lynnetta began her long career in nursing. She was a caretaker at heart and worked mostly in nursing home care. She lived most of her life in the Wagoner area and enjoyed camping with family and friends, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. Surrounded by her family and friends, Lynnetta passed away peacefully at Pleasant Valley Care Center in Muskogee, Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Lynnetta was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Tommy Joe and Johnny Daugherty. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Lamon of Wagoner; her three children, Brian Lamon, Sarah Russell, and her husband, Scott, all of Okay and Karen Pureifoy and her husband, Keith, of Muskogee; grandchildren, Austin and Braiden Russell, Austyn Pureifoy and Blake and Halie Russell; a sister, Kathie Stuff and her husband, Robert Nubbin', of Tahlequah; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will be Ted Martin, Jimmie Rowan, Manny Selido, Jeff Crow, Danny Nevitt and Eddie Russell. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner.
