Marcus Ray Hampton was born October 3, 2012 in Muskogee, OK to Sherry Dawn Underwood and Christopher Scott Hampton. He departed this life early Tuesday, March 17, 2020 as the result of physical health problems he suffered with since birth.

Although Marcus was only seven years old he lived life to the fullest. His family recalls his strong spirit and how liked to run the show. He was a typical boy who liked the mud, but then he quickly wanted to get cleaned up, and he liked to mow the yard with his dad. He loved to box and held his own with Ray Ray.

Marcus' favorites were:  television show - Paw Patrol, cartoons– Bubble Guppies and Peppa Pig and song – The Gummy Bear Song. Marcus loved his dog, Patch who he liked to roll around in the stroller. He also liked dinosaurs and dump trucks.

Marcus is survived by his loving family, who include his parents, Christopher Scott Hampton and Sherry Dawn Underwood; his siblings, J.J. Harris, Lauren Brumfeld, Jaden Hampton and Alexia "Ray Ray" Brumfeld; grandparents, Sheila Underwood, Randy Underwood, Gary Hampton and Angela Hampton; great-grandparents, Roy and Donna Ferguson; uncles, Timothy Hampton and Brandon Hampton; aunt Stacey Underwood; great uncle and aunt, Mike and Alison Ferguson; godfather, Daniel Swanson; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great uncles, Roy, James and Marcus (his namesake); great-grandparents, Betty Hampton and Scottie Hampton and his puppy dog, Patch.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
