Funeral services for Marie Annette White, 63, life-long resident of Wagoner were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 20 at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Coweta with Father Joe Townsend officiating. Annette was born October 29, 1948 in Muskogee, OK to her parents, Leo J. and Margaret (Henderson) White. She grew up and was baptized in the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wagoner. After graduating Wagoner High School, Annette earned her Bachelor's Degree in Dairy Science from Oklahoma State University in 1972. She farmed alongside her family in rural Wagoner County. Annette received her Bachlor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Studies from Newman University. She was dedicated to her church, teaching religious education and very active in the county election board. She enjoyed gardening and loved to share famous irises with family and friends. Annette passed away Wednesday, August 5, at her home near Wagoner. Annette was preceded in death by her father, Leo J. White in April, 2005. She is survived by her mother, Margaret White of the home; her siblings, Jim White and wife, Carol of Muskogee and their children, Jaime Smith and Beth Bass, Catherin Greb and husband, Leslie of Texas City, TX and their son, Karl, Richard White and wife, Tammy of Irving, TX and their children, Derek and Aaron, Mary Sharma and husband, Vinnie of Niceville, Florida and their children, Arun, Aneil, Jonathan and Tresa, Barbara Knowlton and husband, Dick of Las Vegas, Nevada and their children, Frances and Maggie and Frances MacArthur of Bartlesville and her children, Jason, Jennifer and Veronica; several great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers were Dick Dalton, Robert Dalton, Jim Keim, Paul Tackett, Steve Soerries and Shawn Flock. A Rosary Service was held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. Funeral arrangements and interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner were directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
