Marilyn Joyce Harris Cantrell was born December 2, 1946 in Wagoner, OK to E.W. "Bully" and Nevorah Bell (Henderson) Harris. She was raised in Wagoner and was a member of the Wagoner High School Class of 1965. Marilyn was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Marilyn died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 28 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, "Bully" Harris and Nevorah Baker; two brothers, David "Gene" Harris and Gerald Edward Harris and a sister, Helen Nadine Hughes. Survivors include her husband, Doyle Cantrell of the home; three children and their spouses, Darrin Lee and Samantha Wells of Bixby, Darla Leanne (Goforth) and Bill Bethel of Wagoner, and Charles Ed "Dude" and Larissa Dodson of Wagoner; two sisters, Oreta Faye Castillo and her husband, Vernon, of Mazie and Carol June Stout of Wagoner; grandchildren, Alicia Goforth, Ashley Goforth, Darrin Wells Jr., and Lillie Issabelle Dodson; great-grandchildren, Brady and Logan Byrd and Kaden Goforth; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Church of God in Wagoner. The Reverend Carl Murphy and the Reverend Bruce VonWald will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rex Fletcher, Doug Elliott, Johnny Stout, Wayne Rosenthal, Bruce VonWald and Jeff Hamilton. Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK.
