Mark Rentie Vann was born February 24, 1985 in Tulsa, OK. He was a lifelong Tulsa resident and was employed in an accounting firm. Mark was a dedicated player of video games and a devoted fan of anything having to do with Batman, the theme for decoration in his man cave. Mostly Mark enjoyed spending time with friends.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Angie. They were together beginning December 4, 2011 and were married December 4 of last year.

Mark departed this life early Monday, July 31, 2017 at Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 32 years. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Winford Rentie and Walter Vann.

He is survived by a loving family who will miss him dearly – his wife, Angela Dawn Vann of the home; mother, Brenda Vann of Tulsa; father and stepmother, Mark and Amy Vann of Chicago, IL; siblings, Amatta Vann, MaKayli Vann, MaKenzie Vann and McKai Vann, all of Chicago; his maternal grandmother, Leona Rentie of Tulsa, OK; paternal grandmother, Delores Vann of Tallahassee, OK; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Keith Moses; sister-in-law, Nicole Davis; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends.

Viewing hours are Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at New Beginnings Church in Wagoner, OK. The minister will be Phyllis Wheeler.

Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, OK. Pallbearers will be James Mills, Shawn Marlow, Stephen Newby, Michael Parrott, Makai Vann, DeAndre Brodnax and Christopher Williams.
