Marshall Roy White was born January 2, 1955 in Mena, Arkansas to William Buck White Sr. and Peggy Ann (Taff) White. Following high school graduation Marshall earned two associates degrees in pastoral ministry and general studies. He was employed at US Motors for 23 years before moving to Texas.
Marshall was a man of great faith in God. He went on a number of mission trips, including to Africa, where he taught pastors. Marshall was a father figure to so many, and he touched so many lives. His life will impact others for generations to come. One of Marshall's hobbies was to make crosses for whomever might want them, youth groups, mission trips or individuals.
Marshall held a deep appreciation for nature. He liked taking photographs, especially of flowers. He loved going fishing with Linda, although being with Linda and being in nature were his greatest enjoyments of the outings.
Marshall departed this life to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 68 years. He was preceded in death by his father, William Buck White Sr. and his brother, William Buck White Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda White of the home; two daughters, Leah Fayeanne Hughey and husband, Micah of Alberta, Canada and Adria Lewis of Mena, AR; his mother, Peggy Ann White of Mena, AR; two brothers, Thomas Calvin White and wife, Judy, of Mena, AR and John Charles White and wife, Rita of MO; six stepchildren, Mary Katherine Sebo, John David Restine, Jason Patrick Restine and wife, Jennifer, Margaret Elizabeth Graham, Jeremy Brian Restine, and Jennifer Michelle Ferguson and husband, Jeff; twenty-four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sisters-in-law, who were like his own sisters; other extended family and a host of friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Marshall's life will be at 2:00 pm Friday, October 6, 2023 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK. Officiating will be the Reverend Phillip Hatley. Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.
