Martha Louise (Goodenough) Bruce went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning of June 9, 2022. She was born January 8, 1967, in Three Rivers, Michigan to Major Francis and Karen Lee (Sprowl) Goodenough III.  She graduated from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma high school in 1984.

Martha married Robert W. Bruce on February 27, 2001, and resided in Wagoner, Oklahoma for the past 15 years.

Martha was a great encourager to her family, friends and co-workers and would text encouraging quotes daily as well as being there to give words of wisdom when needed.   She was not ashamed to share her faith in God to anyone who was struggling. She continued to do this even while enduring the pain of her sickness. Martha always put others and their needs before hers.

Martha is survived by her husband Rob of Wagoner, Oklahoma, 4 daughters; Ashton (Kevin) Cook of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, Alyssa (Aaron) Applegate of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Micah (Braxton) Clark of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Aubrey Bruce of Wagoner, Oklahoma, 4 grandchildren; Wheston and Whyatt Applegate and Cambry and Cora Cook, her mother; Karen Goodenough of Three Rivers, Michigan and her siblings; Beth Ann (Russ) Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Major (Patsy) Goodenough IV of Marcellus, Michigan, Christy (Bob) Bischoff of Stevensville, Michigan, Hannah Comstock of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joel Goodenough of Three Rivers, Michigan and Paul (Heather) Goodenough of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her brother-in-law Scott (Kim) Bruce of Wagoner, Oklahoma and father-in-law Ed Bruce of Wagoner, Oklahoma, in addition to aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother-in-law, and grandparents.

Services will be on June 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
