Martha Jean (Provolt) Williams, 58, departed this life on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on December 17, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Millard Gene Provolt and Mary Louise (Goins) Provolt. Martha attended and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. She later pursued her passion for beauty and creativity by earning her cosmetology license and eventually became a cosmetology instructor in Oklahoma City, where she shared her knowledge and love for the profession with others.

After the death of her husband Charles, Martha showed incredible strength and determination by returning to school and earning her Veterinary Technician license. Though she was never able to work in the field due to her cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments, this accomplishment reflected her deep love for animals and her resilient spirit. She was someone who continued to grow, learn, and push forward even in the face of life’s greatest challenges.

Martha had a passionate love for flowers and found great joy in tending to her flower beds and keeping them in pristine condition. She had a true gift for decorating and took pride in creating beautiful and welcoming spaces filled with thoughtful home decor. She loved being outdoors, soaking in the sunshine, and finding peace in nature.

Her dogs Bohdi and Goose were more than pets. They were her babies. She cherished them deeply and showered them with unconditional love.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Mary Provolt and her husband Charles Williams.

Those left to cherish the many memories of her life include her loving companion Todd Wood of the home, her sister Robin Veirs and husband Stephen of Wagoner, Oklahoma, her nephews Matt Glenn, Chris Glenn, and Steve Veirs, her niece Nicole Dalzell, numerous great nieces and nephews, and all who were blessed to call her family.

Martha will be remembered for her creativity, her perseverance, her love of beauty and animals, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her life was a testament to courage, grace, and enduring love, and her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who loved her.
