Mary Janette Hunter was born on November 12, 1956 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to T. H. and Mary (Tindell) Hunter. She was raised in Wagoner with her siblings, Harvey Dale Hunter and Judy Hunter Woods, and graduated from Wagoner High School in 1975. She attended Northeastern State College in Tahlequah. She worked as an accountant for many years; Janette was employed with her mother, Mary Hunter, in the Hunter Income Tax and Accounting office, and continued in the business when it became the Sam Alexander CPA office. Janette enjoyed reading and listening to rock music in her leisure time. She attended the All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa. Janette died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Tulsa, OK, just a few days past her 55th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, T. H. and Mary Hunter; by a brother, Harvey Hunter; a sister, Judy Hunter Woods; and her husband, David "Yankee" Weller. She is survived by two daughters, Heather England and her husband, Daniel, of Catoosa and Jacqueline Lee of Muskogee; two grand-daughters, Hannah and Hayley England of Catoosa; her "Mimi", Charlene Dorr of Wagoner; other relatives and her friends. A memorial service will be held for Janette at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
