Obituary

Mary Lou Riegel, resident of Okay, OK, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 9, 2016. She will be greeted by her parents, Henry J. Jones and Lecota I (Mader) Jones; her husband of 49 years, Lloyd M. Riegel Sr. (2001); daughter Linda Marie Riegel Eubanks (2003); half brother Rex Loibl (2013); and sister in law MaryLou Loibl (2008); her brothers-in-law Floyd Linn (1993) and Lawrence Riegel (2004). Mary married Lloyd Riegel on September 3rd 1952 in Wichita Kansas. Lloyd was in the Air Force; he served in the Korean War. Mary was a member of the Okay United Methodist Church, and Wagoner Methodist Church. She was baptized at an early age. It was hard for her to get out an attend church due to her illness; she had Parkinson's for many years. She would watch Boston Avenue Church on Sunday mornings. She loved her church family, and they loved her. The death of our sister was hard on her. No parent should bury a child, but she never lost her faith in God.

She was a member of the Muskogee Quilt Guild for 25 years, making baby hats for newborn babies and quilts for each of her children and grandchildren. She won many awards for her quilting and knitting. She was a past Matron for Eastern Star of Wagoner. She worked at Prestolite for 19 years as a checker and still stayed in contact with her friends.

She loved being outside in her flower beds and garden, working the flowers every day.  She also loved hummingbirds.

Keeping her memories alive are her daughter, Lydia and Henry Dupont; sons and their wives, Lenny Riegel, Lloyd and Diana Riegel, Larry and Debbie Riegel; and son in law Jackie Eubanks;
grand children Anna Eubanks Morton, Jackie Eubanks Jr, Lauren Riegel, Sabrina Dupont, Kristina and Cody Dupont, Alexis, Abbey, and Blake Doolittle, and Leanne and Paisley Turner; great-grandchildren Caitlin Morton, Andrew Morton, Ashley Eubanks, Makenna Aguilar, Madaline Resendiz, Sadie Dupont, and Sophie, due in April; brothers in law Glenn and Connie Capps, Billie Linn; nieces and nephews Cindy Eckhart, Kelly and Michael, Linda Williams, Kory and Tyler, Cathy and Rick Stevenson, Alisha, Rebecca, Alan, and Joyce Loibl, and Rex Loibl.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK. Funeral services will be held at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel OK at 10:30 A.M.
