Mary Louise (Cobb) Trueblood was born July 24, 1940 in Wagoner, OK to Joe Ben and Dorothy V. (Hellinger) Cobb. Following graduation Mary attended college. She began a career as a legal assistant and lived in Muskogee and Okmulgee for a time. Later on Mary ran an auction business, worked in accounting, and ran a day care. She loved to participate in storage unit sales

Her heart was in Wagoner, where she returned to make her home later. Mary was a part of a large, loving and close family, who enjoyed being together often, especially at the Saturday night get-togethers where there was a good meal, card playing, and always a special dessert. She organized the Cobb family reunions, following in the footsteps of her aunts Betty and Nettie.

Mary was the caregiver in her family. She provided care for both her parents and Uncle Russell while still working. Her generous heart reached out to others as well; her door was always open, and she made sure that anyone who was in need was provided a place to stay and a meal, or home furnishing if that was what was needed. She was a wonderful cook, and it was her job to make the 20 or so pies for the family Thanksgiving dinner.

Mary departed this life early Monday, July 30, 2018 at Hillcrest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Ben and Dorothy Cobb; all of her grandparents; a nephew, Ronnie Wayne Cagle, Jr; numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors who will miss her dearly include four children, Stephen Trueblood and wife, Ronni of Washington, Marsha Horn of the home, Mary Ellen Noel and husband, David of Catoosa, Ok and Linda PIlkerton of Wagoner; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, James G. Cobb and his wife, Donna of Wagoner, OK; three sisters, Martha Gad berry and husband, Rod of Houston, TX, Wanda Cagle and husband, Ronald of Muskogee, OK and Donna Wright and husband, Lonnie of Wagoner, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and her friends.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday at the Church of God in Wagoner. The Reverend Bruce VonWald will officiate.

Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Joshua Trueblood, Gavin Trueblood, Austin Horn, Trevor Horn, Ryan Horn and Kirkland Simmons.
