Matthew Wayne Hyde, 40, of Coweta, OK, died Tuesday evening, September 30, 2008. His funeral will be at 10 AM Monday, October 6, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta. The Reverend David Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joshua Hyde, Juston Vunetich, Shane Westbrook, Donovan Tate, Curtis Ralls Jr. and Lance Goodson. Matthew was born November 14, 1967 in Lubbock, TX to Richard and Kathryn (Washburn) Hyde. He and his family had made their home in Coweta the past three years, moving from California. Matthew was employed as an aerospace mechanic for Nordam. He was a dedicated weightlifter and loved to spend time with his family. He was very good at building things and enjoyed constructing things in his spare time. He also liked to fish and golf. Matthew is survived by his wife, Tamara Hyde; children, Shayann and Joshua, all of the home; his father and stepmother, Richard and Alene Hyde of Springdale, AR; his mother, Kathryn Washburn of Howell, MI; two sisters, Cheryl and Debbie; two brothers, Mike and David; parents-in-law, Janice and Charlie Westbrook of Hulbert and Johnny and Irene Jenkins of Roe, AR; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, including Lee and Fern Tipton. Viewing will begin at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The family will receive guests at a Visitation from 1 to 5 PM Sunday.
