The Memorial Service for Merry Jane Watkins, 68, will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK. Officiating will be Pastor Donald Homady.

Merry Jane Watkins was born March 15, 1950 in Cardin, Oklahoma to Howard Lex Busby and Billie Lucille Glover. She worked in a number of capacities before retirement, including custodial work for a several commercial businesses. Her family remembers her as a devout Christian who was always full of joy and liked to tease and tell jokes. She was an excellent cook and liked to spend time with family playing cards or beating them at Yahtzee. Merry enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was while fishing, gardening or attending garage sales.

Merry Jane departed this life Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Her father, Howard Letts Busby, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Billie Lucille Glover of Broken Arrow, OK; two sons, Richard Albert Blackburn and his wife, Cindy, of Mounds, OK and Aaron Wayne Rolen and his wife, Charity, of Marshall, AR; four grandchildren, Robert Cabrera, Olivia Thompson, Alaina Rolen and Kaelynn Rolen; her brothers and sisters, Wanda Holiday of Owasso, OK, Richard Howard Busby of Rocky Point, Wagoner, OK, Harold Lee Busby of Tahlequah, OK, Julia Ann McKnight of Tulsa, OK, Leonard Leon Busby of Leonard, OK, Sharon Gragg of Casper, WY, and Cindy Taylor von Aschwege of Texas; half-siblings, Bryan Cox and Donnie Cox, both of Tulsa, Ok, Charlotte Beasley of Inola, OK and Debra Dickers of Hinesville, GA; many nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.

Cremation is provided by Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.
