Michael Shane Flora was born September 19, 1967 in Wichita, Kansas to Mike and Sandra (Smith) Flora. He grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, where he graduated from high school. Shane was married to Christina Flora for eighteen years. They have made their home in Oklahoma for the past fifteen years. Shane was a parts manager for United Engines. His favorite interest was his red Volkswagen GTI, which was his trademark. Shane departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2011. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Woody Chan, and his grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Christina Flora; three children, Michael Flora Jr., Daniel Paul Flora and Karrie Ann Flora, all of Broken Arrow, OK; his mother, Sandra (Smith) Peppers of Wagoner; four brothers, Jason Chan, David Chan, Shawn Cox, and Kenny Flora; his father-in-law, Herbert King of Malden, Massachusetts; other relatives and his friends. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2011 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner.
