Michael Norman, 73, a Contract Administrator for the City of Broken Arrow, departed this life Monday morning, June 12, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK.  Michael, a native of Wagoner, OK, was born April 22, 1944.  He and his wife of 51 years, June, made their home in Broken Arrow since 1975. They are church members of The Assembly in Broken Arrow.

Michael is survived by his wife, June Norman of the home; a daughter, Michelle Lake and husband, Joel, of Bixby, OK; a son, Nick Norman and wife, Emily, of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Rachel, Mitchell and Matthew Lake and Jessica and Ashlyn Norman; one brother, Marlin Norman and wife, Eloise, of Wagoner, OK a number of nieces and nephews, including Debbie Burchfield and husband, Gary, Kevin Potts and Janet Potts.

Preceding Michael in death were his parents; a sister, Julia Potts; a brother, A. C. Norman, Jr.; a nephew, Jeff Potts; and several aunts and uncles.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at The Assembly at 101st and 129th in Broken Arrow, OK. Pastor Barry Simon will officiate.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.  Pallbearers will be John Brummett, Mitch Lake, Joel Lake, Dave Wooden, Kevin Potts and Gary Burchfield.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Leon Moore, Marlin Norman, Nick Norman, Matthew Lake, T. J. Potts and Don Sanders.
