Murl Sanders, 70, passed from his earthly home into his heavenly home on August 31, 2008 in Purcell, OK. He resided in Wagoner, OK for 38 years where he owned Sanders Janitorial Company. He retired in 2001 after suffering poor health. Murl worked hard all his life to provide for his family. His wife, children and grandchildren were his life. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Pat; daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Dwayne Riley of Purcell, daughter Karyn Sanders of Denver, CO; grandchildren Brandi Gilley and husband Chris, Aaron and Blake Riley and Bella and Sebi Medina; one brother, Roy Sanders of Houston, TX; and one sister Verna Moses of College Station, TX. Murl also leaves to mourn his passing a host of other relatives and friends. He was born August 9, 1938 in Ava, Missouri to Frank and Mace Sanders, who precede him in death, along with a brother and sister. He was a veteran of the United State Air Force. A Visitation will be held at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner from 6-8 PM Tuesday. Funeral Services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Mallett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Naugher will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris Coats, Dale Rhinehart, Gary Welch, Aaron Riley, Mike Blackwood and Chris Gilley. Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Coats, Earl Johnson and Boyd Cagle. Interment will be in Downing Cemetery in Baron, Oklahoma.
