Nancy Arlene (Cantrell) Hamilton was born at the Wagoner Hospital on June 16, 1965 in Wagoner, OK to Doris D. (Buford) and Donald William Cantrell. She graduated from Wagoner High School and later trained for and became a licensed EMT. She was employed by the City of Wagoner EMS for a number of years, later working for S & C Piping. At the time of her death Nancy was working in construction with her family. Nancy departed this life on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her home in Wagoner. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lois and Clour Cantrell and Walsie and Blake Buford; a sister-in-law, Becki Cantrell; and six maternal aunts and uncles. She is survived by three children, Kaitlyn Hamilton, J.J. Hamilton and Kirsten Hamilton, all of Sallisaw, OK; her parents, Don and Doris Cantrell; brothers and their spouses, Don and Julie Cantrell, Danny Cantrell and Krista Zelinsky, David and Dianna Cantrell and Dalton and Angelia Cantrell, all of Wagoner, Ray and Sandy Johnson of Shattuck, OK and Pat Toner of Tulsa County; thirteen nieces and nephews; a special four year old nephew, Race, to whom she was "Nanny"; twelve great nieces and nephews; a number of aunts and uncles, including, Ted and Edna Cantrell of Dardnelle, AR, Bob and Jean Cantrell of Haysville, KS, Betty Davis of Wagoner, Doyle Cantrell of Wagoner and Lynn and Mike Borum of Muskogee, Dalton and Donna Buford of Hulbert and Laverne Dumond of Wagoner; many other relatives and friends, including her very best friends, Arnold Gibson. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Carl Murphy, the Reverend Billy Parker and the Reverend Shannon Davis will officiate. Pallbearers will be Levi Cantrell, Cameron Cantrell, Todd Zelinsky, Dylan Cantrell, Devin Cantrell and Dale Rinehart. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. A visitation with the family present will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday at Mallett Funeral Home, who is charge of arrangements.
