The memorial service to celebrate the life of Faye "Katy" Hoffman, will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the First Christian Church, 415 Northeast 2 nd Street, Wagoner, OK. Officiating will be Mrs. Pat Clark and the Reverend Will Smith.
Nella Faye North was born October 31, 1950 in Wagoner, OK to Elijah and Lucy Ann (Smith) North. She attended Wagoner schools and graduated from high school in Clanton, Alabama. Faye was married to Dan Hoffman on June 23, 1967. Dan and Katy, as he called her, enjoyed nearly 52 years of marriage. They were blessed with a son, Daniel "Dan" and a daughter, Robin.
The family lived in different locations through the years. While making their home near Grand Lake Faye owned and operated the Cash and Katy's Kountry Kitchen. In her spare time, Katy loved computer games, especially Farmville.
Faye departed this life Monday evening, May 27, 2019 at her home in Prague, OK, where she has lived since about 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lige and Lucy Ann North; a sister and brother-in-law, Lottie and Carl McConnell; niece Linda and nephew, Carl Jr.; a brother, Johnny North; other siblings who died at a young age, A.D. North, Leon North and Ruby Ellen North.
Her loving family will always remember Katy as a great wife, mother, grandmother (Mom or Nanny) and friend. Those remaining include her husband, Dan Hoffman of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Chad "Dan" and Kaylee Hoffman and their children, Calleigh and Thatcher Hoffman, all of Shawnee, OK; daughter, Robin Rochelle Anderson and her children, Bailey, Eli and Dax Anderson, and their father, Bobby Anderson, all of Moore, OK; siblings, Billy North, Lois Creech, Bonnie Lightfoot and Charles North; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donation to any Cancer research.
