Nola Ann Beck, 82 years old, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Muskogee, OK, surrounded by family. She was born on March 27, 1943, in Wagoner, OK, to Nolan and Elizabeth (Bettye) Smith. She married her beloved husband, Bobby Gene Beck, on March 15, 1957, and they shared 56 years together in the Wagoner, Hulbert, and Haskell areas of Oklahoma, raising five children and enjoying many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was employed as a bookkeeper by Hefner Block Plant in Wagoner, for several years as well as a factory line worker at Prestolite Electric Division in Wagoner. She enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and traveling with family and friends, and loved to crochet. She loved helping others and at times housed other family members in times of need. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Elizabeth (Bettye) Smith; her husband, Bobby Gene Beck, three children, Janet Thornburg, Robert Beck, and Renee Gardner; and two grandsons, Joseph Ryan Beck and Dustin Lee Deckard. She is survived by one sister, Rosanna Hicks of Drain, Oregon; two sisters-in-law Minnie Lee Beck of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Robbie Beck of Owasso, Oklahoma; two daughter and one daughter-in-law, Sherrill Ann (Ed) Kelley of Panama City Beach, Florida, Debra Wheeler of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Kollie Beck of Kansas, Oklahoma; She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren: Aimy (JD Walker) Scroggins of Inlet Beach, Florida, Johnny Kinyon of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Melinda (David) Dollarhide of Leach, Oklahoma, Michelle (Jorge) Rodriguez of Coweta, Oklahoma, Wesley Joe (Patty) Thornburg of Okay, Oklahoma, Tiffany (Billy) Sims of Okay, Oklahoma, Jennifer Sheets of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Rachel Carey of Kansas, Oklahoma, Stacey (Chris) Asher of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Brandi Tow of Haskell, Oklahoma, Joshua Collis of Kansas, Oklahoma, Bryce (LaRena) Gardner of Hulbert, Oklahoma, Jimmy Ray (Ashley) Beck of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Jasmine (Curtis) Clinton of Kansas, Oklahoma, Brittany Deckard of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Sammy Wheeler of Haskell, Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Per the final wishes of Nola Beck, there will be no funeral service. Interment will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, where Nola will be laid to rest with her beloved late husband, Bobby Beck. A family luncheon will follow at 12:00 pm, at Honor Heights Park, 1400 Honor Heights Dr, Muskogee, OK, 74401.
