Obituary

Olga Ruth (Miller) Stuckey was born on August 19, 1937, in Lehigh, Oklahoma to Gus Miller and Allie Bea (Gilbreath) Miller.  She married the love of her life, John Stuckey in 1975 in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Olga was a caring, generous woman who loved her family immensely. Olga was very involved with her grandchildren.  She was the den mother for Troop 637 when the grandchildren were in Cub Scouts.  Olga enjoyed music; she liked all genres of music.  She loved to watch movies, her favorite was mystery and science fiction. She enjoyed action movies as well, especially those with Jason Statham starring.

Olga was active in the Twilight Twisters dancing organization.  She was an impressive dancer. She had a love for angels and enjoyed antiquing when the opportunity arose.  Sports were something that Olga also enjoyed, especially basketball and football.  She was abounding with spirit and cheered all through high school.  She was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder basketball fan and rooted for Baylor and UT in football. She was a dedicated employee at Dillard's as a pacesetter for many years.   Olga liked to read comics and was an avid Superman fan in past times.

Olga departed this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Texas at the age of 86 years.  Preceding her in death are her parents, Gus and Allie Bea Miller; husband, John Stuckey; and siblings, Infant, Willie May, Gus, Carl, Bertha, Margaret, Mildred, Pat, Connie, Bill, and Preston.

Surviving Olga are her daughters, Barbara Williams and her husband, Jeff of Fredericksburg, TX, and Brenda Boatman and her husband Jack of Preston, OK; grandchildren, Jonathan Forehand and his wife, Erica of Wagoner, OK, Brandon Burns and his wife, Alex of Broken Arrow, OK, Edward Williams and his wife, Katelyn of Austin, TX, and Ethan Williams of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren, Ash and Reese Forehand, and Hallie and Sage Burns; sisters, Barbara Spielgel and her husband, Phil of New Braunfels, TX, Mary Weaver of Corpus Christi, TX, brother, Edgar Miller and his wife, Sue of Grove, OK; brother-in-law, Tom Stuckey of Annapolis, MD; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Memorial Service, honoring the life of Olga Stuckey will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Bennett Addition in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Reverend Steve Hershaw will officiate.
