Funeral services for Patricia Ann Johnson, 71, long-time resident of Wagoner will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 16 at the First United Methodist Church in Porter, Oklahoma with the Reverend Yvonne Buchanan officiating. Ann was born July 3, 1940 in Muskogee to her parents, Herbert and Fannie (Coppage) Moody. She grew up and attended Porter and Muskogee schools before continuing her education through Tulsa University and Northeastern State University, attaining her Master's Degree in Music Education. Ann taught music then reading in Muskogee and Porter schools for 32 years before retirement. As an alumnus, she continued her support of the Delta Delta Delta sorority of Tulsa University and was an active member of the N.E.A., O.E.A., Retired O.E.A. and the Muskogee Reading Council. Ann always enjoyed helping to organize the Porter All School Reunions and played piano for many local events. She also enjoyed traveling to destinations from Hawaii to New England and Europe. Ann passed away Monday, March 12 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, L.D. Johnson. She is survived by her children, Curtis Johnson, Julie Campbell and her husband, James, Christopher Lee Johnson all of Tulsa and Jessica Johnson of Wagoner; her grandchildren, Leigh Foreman and Stacy, Benjamin Campbell and Paige Campbell; other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Brent Hogan, Loren Hytche, Tony Holmes, Dale Morris, Dale Morris Jr. and Bobby Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Gregory, Eric Lewic and Richard Gray. Funeral arrangements and interment in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
