Patricia June Lyons was born April 3, 1931 in Bokoshe, OK to Ulmer Evans and Evelyn Estelle (Alford) Miller. She was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church in Wagoner where she made her home. Her family remembers her as a very giving person whose life was centered on God. She liked to can and was known for being a great cook, especially her banana nut bread. She enjoyed gardening. While living in Arlington Patricia owned an antique store. Her interest in antiquing and collecting continued after she and her husband, Richard, moved to Wagoner. Patricia Lyons departed this life on Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Muskogee, OK, just 8 days past her 79th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara, and two brothers, James and Eugene. Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Lyons, of the home; four sons and her daughters-in-law, Joseph Ray Williams of Bokoshe, OK, Jerry Wayne and Marilyn Williams of Muskogee, OK, Robert David and Sherry Williams of Tulsa, OK, and Keith Richard and Rene' Williams of Roosevelt, OK; five siblings, Ernestine Atkins, Herschel Miller, Milton Miller, all of Bokoshe, Linda Shockley of Spiro, OK, and Larry Miller of Bokoshe; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, including her adopted son, Ron Elkins, of Itasca, TX; and her friends. The family will welcome friends at a visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Mallett Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the United Pentecostal Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Micah Wisdom and the Reverend Bob Smith will officiate. Interment will be in the Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be David Harlow, Bill Lancaster, James Miller, David Moore, Gary Moore and Larry Pugh.
