Patricia Lynn "Patsy" Saylors was born March 1, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to William Clifton Saylors and Audrey (Linville) Saylors Childress. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and made her home there for a number of years. She was employed as a dietician at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Sapulpa.

For the past thirty years Patsy has made her home in Muskogee, OK where she attended Calvary Baptist Church and loved singing in the choir. Her family recalls that Patsy really leaned her faith during her lifetime.

Patsy loved to care for the children in her family. Visiting her was always fun, especially because she loved to make candy. They will always cherish the memory of her kind heart. Patsy liked having her pets around her as well, which at different times could be a dog or a cat.

Patsy departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Muskogee, OK at the age of 73 years. She was preceded in death by her father, William Clifton Saylors and her mother, Audrey Saylors Childress as well as two sisters who died at a young age, Billie Kay Saylors and Myrtie Sue Saylors.

She is survived by her sister, Jo Boyne; her bother, Brandon Childress; her sister, Nancy Murphy; her nephew and his wife, Rick and Sally Boyne; her niece and her husband, Pamela and David Goodell; numerous grandnieces and grandnephews; other extended family and a host of friends.

Viewing for Patsy will be Sunday afternoon from 1-5 pm at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.

The funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Rick Boyne will officiate.

Interment will be at 1 pm Monday in the South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, OK.
