Patricia Carrol (Smalley) Settlemyre was born April 23, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Fred Anderson and Anna Lee (Maxville) Smalley. After graduation from Wagoner High School with the class of 1967 Patricia attended beauty college.

Patricia loved connecting with people. She never met a stranger and loved telling jokes and handing out mints. She was well known by many, especially those whom she helped in her capacity as a pharmacy tech at Simmons Drug in Wagoner.

She had many wonderful memories of square dancing with her husband, Barry, and occasionally liked to go to the casino. Her favorite restaurant was the Golden Corral. She loved attending garage sales.

Patricia departed this life early Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 73 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Settlemyre; her parents, Fred and Anna Smalley; a sister, Elada Edwards and a niece, Emily Hayes.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Steven and Kerri Willis of Claremore, OK, Steve and Sheri Gifford of West Point, VA, Pam and Eric Dill of Coleman, AL, Angie and Darien Austin of Muskogee, OK, Barry and Wanda Settlemyre of Haileyville, AL; and Jamie McCurry of Wagoner, OK; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Smalley of Wagoner, OK; two sisters, Joyce Felton of Tampa, FL and Jan and Dee Gragg of Edmond, OK; brother-in-law, Larry and wife, Mary Settlemyre; many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Viewing will be Tuesday from 10 am until 7 pm. Family will gather with friends for a visitation Tuesday from 5 until 7 pm.

The funeral service to celebrate a life well lived will be at 10 am Wednesday at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Wagoner. Officiating will be the Reverend Lisa Sowers.

Private interment will be in Greenleaf Cemetery in Cherokee County, OK, where Patricia will be laid to rest beside Barry.
