Patricia Elladean (Swartwood) Teague was born April 5, 1941 in Tulare, CA to Charles Jake Swartwood and Ruby Olene (Bryan) Swartwood. Patricia completed a master's degree and was a counseling psychologist with the Veteran Affairs before her retirement. She enjoyed volunteer work as well.

Patricia loved being a mother, and she will be greatly missed by her family, her four sons, Jimmy Dale Hewitt and wife, Judy of San Antonio, TX, Charlie Hewitt of Catoosa, OK, John Hewitt and wife, Dottie of Catoosa, OK and Robert Carpenter of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Lana Carr and husband, Tommy of Broken Arrow, OK, two brothers, Terry of Idaho and Raymond Steely and wife, Nikki of Chandler, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She departed this life Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at her home in Catoosa, OK. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Ruby (Bryan) Swartwood, her husband, Joe Teague, and a brother, Charles Swartwood.

As Patricia planned, she will be privately laid to rest beside her husband, Joe Teague, in Park Hill Cemetery in Cherokee County, OK.
