Patsy LaJune (Olson) Skelton left this life on Friday, August 21, 2026, and was surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Paul, and son-in-law, Kurt Paul (preceded in death) of Carrollton, TX; her son, Clay Dion Skelton and wife, Cheryl of Lewisville, TX. Her sisters, Janet and husband Mike Mann of Porum, OK, Karen Olson of Wagoner, OK, Terri Olson of Wagoner, and Jerri and Mike Brooks of Glenpool, OK, and many nieces and nephews.
She was born on December 8, 1940, to Raymond and Wilma (Blair) Olson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Bird, and brothers, Roger and Dale Olson, and husband, Emory Clay Skelton.
A special thank you to her caregivers in her last days, Janet Mann; her nieces, Amie and Camryn Mann; and the special dogs that she loved dearly.
She was a proud Marine and loved that life, and it was very special to her growing up as a little girl. She always wanted to be a Marine.
She met Sgt. Emory Clay Skelton in the Marines in 1958, and they married in 1960.
She resided in Carrollton, Texas, as an accountant and raised her children and rescued animals, always opening her home and heart to many over the years. She was always a God-loving woman who loved her Lord very much. May she rest in peace.
