Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Sowers, 72, long-time resident of Wagoner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2008 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lisa Sowers officiating. Patsy was born December 31, 1935 in jHulbert, Oklahoma to her parents, Dewey and Dolly (Smith) Glenn. At an early age her family moved to the Porter area where Patsy attended school. On June 20, 1950 she was united in marriage to Bannis Sowers, a union lasting 58 years. Patsy was an accomplished homemaker and took great pride in her cooking and canning. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts and other crafts. She passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Wagoner. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, Johnny, Milo and Leroy Glenn; a son-in-law, Michael Jones and by her grandson, Ronnie Sowers Jr. She is survived by her husband, Bannis Sowers of the home; her son Ronnie Sowers and his wife, Linda; her daughters, Sandra Noetzol and her husband, Floyd and Debbie Duvall and her husband, Larry all of Wagoner; three sisters, Bernice Tackett of Broken Arrow, Sue Nell Phillips of Tulsa and Jeannie Neighbors of Collinsville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Manuel Goldsmith, Frank Rankins, Michael Jones, Eric Jones, Jack Perigo and Rudy Serna. Honorary pallbearers will be Floyd Noetzol, Nicholas Noetzol, Jesse Sowers, Jackson Perigo and Herald Welch.
