Pauline Hazel Davis-Maycher-Enos, age 84, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, passed away after a brief illness on October 26, 2017, in Bentonville, Arkansas with her children by her side. Pauline, daughter of Charlie and Effie (Wooten) Davis, was born on January 7, 1933, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She attended school in Oklahoma and California and graduated high school in 1950 and subsequently attended University of Maryland for business classes. Pauline was employed by The National Security Agency and Veterans Administration; she retired in 1995.
Pauline married Florenz Milton Maycher on February 6, 1951, and to this union three children were born. Pauline and her family lived in several foreign countries, Texas, Maryland, California, and Oklahoma while Milton was in the military. Milton retired in 1979 and they made their home in Maryland until then when they moved to Wagoner, Oklahoma.
On October 14, 1997, she was united in marriage to Charles H. Enos of Kansas, and to this union four children were added to her family. Pauline enjoyed gardening, traveling and time with family and friends.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Charles H. Enos; son Terry Maycher and his wife Rebecca, of Cassville; daughter, Shevawn Clemens, of Rogers, Arkansas; four step-children, Charlie Enos and his wife Leta, of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Robert Enos and his wife Marcia, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Katherine Reeves and her husband Clyde, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Jane Hill and her husband Rick, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Rice, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister in-law, Brookie Maycher; three nephews and several cousins. In addition to her parents Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa S. Maycher; her husband, Florenz Milton Maycher, sister in-law, Gloria Scott; brothers in-law, Martin Maycher and Jim Rice.
In lieu of flowers her family asks that memorial contributions be made to Peachtree Village Retirement Center, 5 Park Drive, Holiday Island, Arkansas 72631.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner.
