Obituary

Pauline Daley Harris was born February 2, 1931 in Fairland, Oklahoma to Lew and Ida Pearl (Clark) Payton. She lived most of her life in Wagoner where she raised her three children, Barbara, Carl and Bobby. Pauline was active in the Eastern Star where she was a past Worthy Matron. Pauline enjoyed politics and was active in and past co-chairman of the Wagoner County Republican Party and was a leader in the "Belmon Belles". She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wagoner. Pauline died Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Wagoner, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years, 1 month and 15 days. She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Carl R. Daley, and by her parents, all of her siblings, and her second husband, James Harris. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Montgomery and husband, Steve, of Alpharetta, Georgia; two sons, Carl Wayne Daley and his wife, Patricia, of Fairfax, Oklahoma and Bobby Daley of Wagoner; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. The Reverend Dr. Loy Hoskins will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Steve Montgomery, Jackey Ornsbey, C.J. Daley and Bobby Hardcastle.
