Peggy Joan Doyle was born February 19, 1948 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to W.H. "Bill" Curtis and Margaret Lucinda (Burrell) Curtis. She lived in the Oklahoma City area before moving to Wesley and Stringtown, OK. Her later years were spent in Wagoner and Muskogee, OK.

Peggy loved taking care of things. She raised yorkies and cockatoo and macaw birds. She was happiest when taking care of people. After high school Peggy trained as a beautician and later became a hospice caregiver.

Her family recalls her spunkiness in handling whatever life threw at her. She was tough and loved her family with everything she was.

Peggy departed this life Saturday morning, June 6, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee, OK at the age of 72 years. Heaven gained one tough angel who is missed on earth immensely! She was welcomed by her husband, Truman Wayne Doyle; her parents, Bill and Margaret Curtis; two sisters, Geneva and Florence Ann and a brother, Don.

Left to cherish her memory are: her children and their spouses, Carol and Chris Mullenax of Tennessee, Sandra and Thomas Applegate of Wagoner, OK, Penny and Jack Van Wey of Hinton, OK, Travis and Elizabeth Doyle of Frisco, TX; Lori Doyle and Addelyn Doyle, both of Tennessee; two stepsons, Mike Doyle and Brian Doyle; grandchildren, Crystal, Justin, Skylar, Tommy, Amanda, Aaron, Jeremy, Bobby Zachary, Emory, Owen, Hannah and Zachary; sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner. Officiating will be the Reverend Lisa Sowers.
