Obituary

James Randall "Rande" Humphries was born May 11, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee to James Edward and Shirley (Meador) Kee.  After graduating with the Wagoner High School Class of 1974 Rande served in the United States Navy and later attended Northeastern State University. He was employed as a salesman at Kevin Grover GMC/Buick in Wagoner

Rande and Anita Caryl (Yates) were married September 11, 1976 and made their home in Wagoner all their lives. Rande was always for anything supporting Wagoner, especially sports activities. He loved football and baseball, filling many of the jobs needed for a team's success, whether working on the sidelines and doing game stats in football, or coaching baseball for son Nick and grandson, Kael. He was the first coach for Kael's baseball team, who honor him this year with his initials in a star on their uniforms. Rande loved to golf and was a member of the Wagoner Golf Association.

Rande and his family have always been very close. He particularly enjoyed cooking out when all the family could be together. Spending time with his grandchildren, Abigail and Kael, was his favorite thing.

Rande departed this life early Monday, April 10, 2017 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, James Humphries; his mother, Shirley (Meador) Kee and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Carline Yates.
