Obituary

Randy Lee Caffey was born May 6, 1952, in Coweta, Oklahoma to Burrell Nute and Mary Magdalene (Maxville) Caffey. After high school graduation Randy furthered his education by attending college.

He soon learned that one of his talents lay in sales. His family names him the best salesman. Perhaps his love of people, talking to them and helping in any way he could contributed to his success. He began his work in sales with the managing of his own Piggly Wiggly store in Wagoner. His career took off when he became a sales manager with Kraft Foods. His family is proud of the many certificates presented to him for his great work.

Another talent Randy had was that he could fix anything. He put this ability to work not only around the house, but also in his flipping houses. He was helpful to the homeless whenever possible and gave them jobs when he could.

His family recalls how Randy loved to be with his family, and that included his dogs, Gravy and Mr. Bear. Krista recalls growing up spending much time at the lake, and what a great skier her father was. Mary will always remember how he loved to play with his granddaughter, and all the grandchildren. All the family will cherish many wonderful memories.

Randy married his loving wife, Diana Aybar Caffey August 19, 1995. They enjoyed a happy life together and attended Life Church. Diana will miss making his favorite Mexican food.

Randy departed this life Monday, January 9, 2023, at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burrell and Mary Caffey; his son, Joshua Randal Caffey; a brother, Wayne Caffey and sisters, Ramona, Frances and Ellen.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diana Caffey of the home; three daughters, Krista Hamilton and husband, Randy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Brandi Caffey of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mary Benway and husband, Jared of Bixby, Oklahoma; a son, Alonso Mostacero of Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Chelsea Lanter, Jackson Lanter, Jacob Lanter, Samantha Huffman, Hunter Hamilton , Logan Hamilton, Beckham Caffey, Natalia Caffey and Brynlee Benway; a brother, Gary Caffey and wife Janice of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; other extended family and friends.
