Raymond "Ray" Lee Weese was born December 4, 1938 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Charles Ward Weese and Florence O'dell (Cue) Weese. He grew up in Jenks and was a graduate of Jenks High School. Ray served on the Jenks Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Before retirement Ray worked in Business Development in the industrial coating industry.
He married the former Deborah Kay Patrick on September 20, 1975 and moved to Wagoner to make their home. Ray loved tending his cows, and especially enjoyed time spent with his bull, Rocky. He liked to fish and spend time with family.
Ray departed this life late Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 12 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Florence Weese; his father-in-law, H. C. Patrick; a brother, Lonnie Weese; sister, Fern Jackson and a brother-in-law, Orval Wolf.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Weese of the home; his children and their spouses, Cheri and Doug Casares of Owasso, OK, Beth and Donnie Napier of Siloam Springs, AR, Dustin and Katrina Weese of Coweta, OK and Natalie and Phillip Wilkinson of Coalgate, Ok; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy Wolf of Mounds, OK and Charlene Sharlow of La Quinta, CA; his mother-in-law, Betty Patrick of Wagoner, OK; numerous other family and friends.
The family and friends will gather for a visitation Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK.
The graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Elmwood Cemetery, Northeast 9th and Parkinson Avenue in Wagoner. The Reverend Mark Pointer will officiate.
Firefighter Funeral Rites will be performed by the Tulsa Fire Department Honor Guard.
