Rebecca Jean Cobb was born April 20, 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Norman Fred and Alice Louise (Dudley) Aldrich. Becky grew up in Harbor City, CA and graduated from Narbonne High School. She lived most of her life in California. She was an entrepreneur, owning a restaurant and a thrift shop, all the while making a home for her family. She and Jim returned to his hometown of Wagoner in 2005 and established Cobb's Emporium. Becky was a painter; often seascapes were her subjects. She loved games of chance, especially bingo. She and her loving husband, James G. Cobb, enjoyed travelling a great deal. Together they visitied 8 different countries and 47 states, accomplishing one of Becky's goals, which was to eat Maine lobster in Maine. Becky passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at her Wagoner home, surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother and a wonderful sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Louis Champ Ash. She is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; her four daughters, Victoria Cathey and her husband, Pat, of Chino, CA, Cindie Booth and her husband, John, of Lewisville, TX, Jackie De Palma and her husband, Pete, of Quail Valley, CA, and Sandie Lindquist of Sun City, CA; three sisters, Florence Wolfrum and her husband, Richard, of Colorado Springs, CO., Norma Louise Tolewitzki and Mary Faulconer and her husband, Charles, all of Quail Valley, CA; twenty grandchldren; eighteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. The funeral service for Becky will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Church of God in Wagoner. The Reverend Bruce VonWold will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Pallbearers will be Philip Cobb, John Booth, Sgt. Casey Battey, USMC, Ron Cagle, Bob Clark and Richard Woldrum. Memorial donations may be made to Sojourn Care (Hospice), 9910 East 42nd Street South, Suite 101, Tulsa, OK 74146. Friends and family may call for viewing from 9 am to 7 pm Friday and 9 am to 11 am Saturday. The family will be present at a visitation from 5 pm to 7 pm Friday at Mallett Funeral Home.
