Richard Lee "Rick" Talbot Jr. was born July 31, 1961 in Topeka, Kansas and grew up in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He graduated with the Wagoner High School Class of 1979.

He was a heat and air technician by trade, and in his spare time Rick enjoyed being outdoors and fishing and hunting. He loved being with family. His favorite pastime was tinkering in his shop or watching old westerns. He was a Sooner fan at heart.

Rick departed this life Monday, February 10, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of fifty-eight years. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hazel and Harry Nicely and his paternal grandmother, Lucille Talbot.

Survivors include his wife, Karen (Gee) Talbot of Tulsa, OK; mother, Judy Talbot; father and stepmother, Richard Talbot Sr. and Kathy Talbot; brother, Ronnie Talbot and wife, Michelle, all of Wagoner, OK; three daughters and spouses, MaryKaye and Bradlee Boren of Wagoner, OK, Cheryl and Corey Delk of Skiatook, OK and Elizabeth Talbot of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Misty Boren, Johnny Boren, Carter Delk, Jaylee Delk, Marley Bias and Lily Bias; other extended family and friends.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Rick on Saturday, February 15 at 1:00 pm at Oak Cabin at the Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, 19808 Park 10, Hulbert, OK  74441.
